Lyft, Inc., founded in 2007 in San Francisco, is a ride-hailing company offering ride-sharing, bike-sharing, and scooter rentals via its Lyft app in the U.S. and Canada. The second-largest ridesharing company, Lyft went public in 2019. As of May 2025, its market cap is $6.77 billion, with a stock price of $16.10 and revenue of $5.96 billion.
Lyft acquired Free Now in 2025 for €175 million, expanding into Europe. It faces competition from Uber and Waymo.
